Share a little about your entrepreneurial journey. And, do you come from an entrepreneurial background?
I always had an entrepreneurial spirit, although for a long time without knowing that what I did fitted into the idea of entrepreneurship. And I always wanted to work around the same cause - people. I began to fight for the cause of uplifting people back in 2008, when I was a member of the support group for the unemployed and underprivileged children. I trained people in sales and negotiated with commercial companies as sales promoters. Other ventures I did in partnership with competent institutions to train them in more practical areas such as civil construction. I opened The Community Center for the Development of Professional Skills with the mission of contributing to increasing employment and self-support opportunities for young Mozambicans through training. Also, the promotion of entrepreneurial initiatives and counseling for income-generating activities through NESHELY Consultoria e Services, a young company directed to human resources development areas through training in the areas of administration, languages, and the recruitment and training of sales promoters. The company has the aim of contributing to the increase of employability, especially for young people. We believe those who understand and possess the art of sales have a greater chance of overcoming poverty. I became the Founding Partner and General Manager of IYUNE DIVINE Entertainment which gave me the opportunity to change my business, stillworking with people but in the form of organized events focused on gospel music and corporate entertainment. There were moments of struggle, but it was a way to continue to fight for the wellbeing of the people, in this case Gospel musicians who had the talent but not the opportunity to make a career for themselves. And today, my entrepreneurial journey focuses on the Premier Human Capital Corporation. I am happy because I feel the experience of all the battles and challenges along the way have led me to better achievements today.
"I always had an entrepreneurial spirit, although for a long time without knowing that what I did fitted into the idea of entrepreneurship."
What are your future plans and aspirations for your company?
Positioning my company in the market in the next 2 years in an excellent and recognized way using better tools for the human development of my clients and partners.
What gives you the most satisfaction being an entrepreneur?
I am amazed to contribute to the quality of life of the companies, clients and families of Mozambique that I serve.
What's the biggest piece of advice you can give to other women looking to start-up?
The new entrepreneur must be willing to face any problems that may arise during theirtrajectory. The road can be difficult, but victory is rewarding. When we have an ambitious goal, like having a successful business, we often get discouraged when we see that we are still very far from achieving our goal. Seeing this distance can cause anxiety and despair. The truth is that we can not evaluate ourselves based on how long it takes to reach Point B, but how far we have moved away from Point A.

Why LoA loves it….
Entrepreneurial success comes as a result of identifying a need and then finding the solutions to address that need. For Nercia Celeste Mazive, she saw the need for Mozambique to build a pipeline of skilled, qualified and experienced people to help the country’s companies and organizations to grow. Her company, Premier Human Capital Corporation Mozambique, is now poised to help both individuals looking to create their own career paths, and companies looking to grow. --- Melanie Hawken, founder and editor-in-chief of Lionesses of Africa
