I can't change the direction of the wind or the tides, but I can adjust my sails to rich my destination - Confucius
Suddenly everything changed, and the worst of all nightmares was the increasingly palpable uncertainty! And the voice that screams in every entrepreneurial woman’s heart is that, a time of crisis is a time of opportunity. It seems like a “cliché”, unreachable. However, it allowed us to identify the harsh reality. We weren’t prepared! Schools, supermarkets, people, the government, nobody was prepared.
Schools didn't start online classes before they were forced to; supermarkets didn’t start and test delivery services before social distancing was mandatory. In all angles of observation there was no anticipation in the construction of skills. Can you believe that?
Young people betting on building skills continuously is the answer for today and tomorrow. Experiencing processes, testing ideas, simulating business, routines and good practices makes organizations and people better prepared for the impact of yesterday and the future of tomorrow.
With the Business Simulation Bootcamp project, ITIS managed to enable young people in a simulated environment to identify business partners, idealize business, test ideas, contact mentors, interact with public institutions, formalize business, relate to banking, sell, buy, etc. Everything done online
The project aims to make all Mozambicans feel comfortable with digital systems and in the business environment, process based on information technologies, respecting national legislation. The walk is still long, but we are based on Confucius' Maxim “We can’t change the wind, but we can adjust the sail to get where we want”. In fact, we came to the conclusion: a time of crisis, there are more pains to be answered, ITIS presented a small preventive measure. What about you? Are you also looking to find other measures, analgesics or cure for the pain?
