BIOSENE collaborates with groups of women producers of baobab fruit, Shea butter, or cultivating exotic fruits (Hibiscus, mango etc.) and establishes direct links with source producers throughout Africa. The business has 59 employees.
Salamba graduated from the Sorbonne in Paris, specializing in economic development and international project management. After her master's degree, she decided to return to Senegal to put her modest experience at the service of the development of her country. She held the position of Operations Director at Laboratoires Bioessence, a company operating in the cosmetics industry in Senegal.
At the beginning of 2015, Salamba Diene became active in community development via the ADA (Action for the Development of Africa) association that she created. ADA benefited from funding from the United States Embassy, and today supports more than 3,000 women in rural and urban areas to improve their living conditions.
These cumulative experiences have reinforced Salamba Diene in the idea of creating this structure which exports and promotes its “Made in Senegal” organic cosmetics and food supplements throughout the world, particularly in Japan, Canada, the United States and Europe.
