Mindful business consulting may not be something familiar to many, but Sharon Sinclair looks to change all that with her company, Chandramala Pty Ltd in South Africa. She is introducing a programme of Organisational Alignment, an energetic change management process that encourages people to find their purpose and achieve a more fulfilled work and personal life.
LoA spoke to Chandramala founder, Sharon Sinclair, to find out more.
What does your company do?
My company, Chandramala Pty Ltd, is a Mindful Business Consultancy, bringing a holistic approach to business through people understanding and development.
What I offer is very unique and most companies have not even heard of it - Organisational Alignment, an energetic change management process.
What inspired you to start your company?
Unhappy people in jobs, miscommunication between management and staff, poverty, suffering and people not living their full potential and not living in purpose. The hopelessness within people and the need to address that through a more holistic approach live and business.
Why should anyone use your service or product?
At Chandramala, we are passionate about facilitating processes whereby people can access and live in purpose, and at the same time, create the life they deserve.
"Moving into an entrepreneurial environment was a huge wake-up call for me, as I had to do everything myself and access a whole range of abilities within me which I previously never knew I had."
Tell us a little about your team
I work with amazing and inspirational individuals, all who have had some or other "wake-up" call in life, now living in purpose and sharing this with others. My team are all entrepreneurs who have joined Chandramala on a project basis. We consider ourselves more than just work colleagues, we have a deep soul connection with a very strong value system incorporating nature, animals, people and a global vision for transformation.
Share a little about your entrepreneurial journey. And, do you come from an entrepreneurial background?
I come from corporate background, where support systems and structures were always in place. Moving into an entrepreneurial environment was a huge wake-up call for me, as I then had to do everything myself. I had to access a whole range of abilities within me which I previously never knew I had. This has been an awesome journey as I am now able to choose what I do want to continue doing personally, and identify what I wish to outsource to another entrepreneur. It has been challenging on many occasions but has been a real blessing, as I now value life, myself, and the people and aspects within my life more. A deeper appreciation and gratitude for the simplicity in life.
"What gives me the most satisfaction being an entrepreneur is bringing joy, understanding and appreciation to people's lives - seeing people and businesses thrive, not survive, BUT THRIVE."
What are your future plans and aspirations for your company?
I intend to be the go to person, the No 1 Mindful Business Consultancy in Africa. What I offer is very unique and most companies have not even heard of it - Organisational Alignment, an energetic change management process. I intend to purchase property in Hawaii and Kenya, travel to various African countries where I can get a clearer understanding of their needs and see how and where I am able to add value and create impactful and sustainable results.
What gives you the most satisfaction being an entrepreneur?
Bringing joy, understanding and appreciation to people's lives. Seeing people and businesses thrive, not survive, BUT THRIVE. Seeing people be excited about life and about sharing and about helping one another.
What's the biggest piece of advice you can give to other women looking to start-up?
Follow your passion, your instinct, surround yourself only with people who inspire your dream. Never give up, no matter what, you deserve the dream, otherwise you would not have the dream. Love Life!!!
