About the Author
Heather Brooke Quick is the founder and CEO of The Quick Law Group, the only divorce and family law firm in Northeast Florida dedicated solely to women. After graduating from the University of North Florida with a nursing degree and working in that field for a number of years, Heather followed a dream planted in her heart as a child by pursuing her law degree. She graduated from Stetson University in the top 7% of her class and worked as a prosecutor before founding her own firm. Her passions include changing the way women are represented in the divorce process in Florida, and helping women live happier, healthier lives by empowering them with tools essential to accomplishing their dreams. As a member of the Florida Bar, Heather is currently serving on the Family Law Rules Committee. She is an active member of The Jacksonville (FL) Bar and is co-chair the Judicial Relations Committee. Heather is a member of the Mayor's Victim Assistance Advisory Council for the city of Jacksonville (FL), and is a board member of Her Song, an organization fighting the sexual abuse and trafficking of girls and women. She and her husband Mike have been married 14 years and are enjoying raising their three children.
