Last month, we shared information from E4Impact in Italy about their exciting MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship here in Africa. Today, they are announcing a great new Business Idea Competition (BIC) to be held in Kampala, Uganda.
The Business Idea Competition (BIC) is one of the activities of E4Impact’s MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship offered in partnership with Uganda Martyrs University and it opens up possibilities to aspirant, early stage and high growth entrepreneurs to present their business ideas and projects in front of a jury of experts from the entrepreneurial world, and to win a scholarship to attend the MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship (starting on the 7th of November 2015). This is a great occasion for all women entrepreneurs in Uganda to also establish vital new contacts within the business community of Kampala and its network!
The Business idea Competition of Kampala will be held at Pope Paul VI memorial Hotel of Rubaga on the 16th of October. The Competition will have the format of a pitch presentation in front of a jury composed of players from the local business community and by Uganda Martyrs University’s professors.

The Global MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship is a concrete occasion for all women entrepreneurs to improve their entrepreneurial skills.
Precisely, the MBA supports participants in:
transforming a business idea into a business plan
improving an existing business
creating partnerships with investors, suppliers and customers
The MBA is comprised of a unique and flexible blend of class lessons, distance learning, coaching and networking events, where participants acquire the business tools and skills necessary to manage a business venture. It is structured as a “training camp” where each course directly responds to the concrete needs that arise in the start-up or scaling of a small business.
Throughout the program, MBA participants meet with interested investors. This ongoing interaction allows participants to develop a relationship of trust with these investors and to draft their business plan according to the expectations of the financial community.
To learn more on the event and to subscribe to attend the BIC, candidates are invited to write an email to umue4impactmba@gmail.com
