Ezee Money Mozambique is a new business venture in the country that looks to further financial inclusion for its citizens by being largely telecom independent, enabling users to access pre-paid and money transfer services. Serial entrepreneur, Evandra Cossa, is leveraging existing technology based solutions originating from Malaysia to make a difference in Mozambique.

What does your company do?
Ezee Money Mozambique is a new company that will offer full E-money financial inclusion services. The business will start with selling prepaid services and then after money transfer services.
What inspired you to start your company?
I want to make a difference through my initiatives in the business environment to make a real and lasting contribution to the development of my Country.

Why should anyone use your service or product?
Customers used to walk long distances to buy or pay for services they wish to access.
Cash collections for many organizations is a serious challenge. Ezee Money collects money on behalf of partners/clients without the risk of losing money.
Tell us a little about your team
My TEAM is a dream team! They make it happen, day after day. Most of them are without previous experience but with a lot of motivation, and they are hard workers. They show me that teamwork makes the dreamwork.
Share a little about your entrepreneurial journey. And, do you come from an entrepreneurial background?
I started on my entrepreneurial journey at a very young age...doing invite cards for parties/ weddings and other events. I was 12 years old! And then I started to create decorations for houses (my passion) when I was studying in Portugal at university. When I headed back to Mozambique to live and work, I started to my career in a bank and then in a mineral company..for 4 years, and then I decided to accept new challenges.

What are your future plans and aspirations for your company?
To be have my company as a key reference point in my country. I always wake up with new ideas. I am a young dreamer, believing that everyday is a challenge.
What gives you the most satisfaction being an entrepreneur?
To be a woman, to be young and to dream big, and I fight everyday to get there. I also have people around me that support me on my entrepreneurial journey.
What's the biggest piece of advice you can give to other women looking to start-up?
Don't be afraid. Sometimes life is about risking it all for a dream that no one can see but you.
