In her latest edition of Hey Ladies, Stop Apologizing, author Maja Jovanovic shows women how to push themselves out of their comfort zones and into action! If you are one of those women who constantly doubt themselves or their abilities, or who downplay their achievements, or refuse to take credit for a job well done, then this is the book for you.
If you find yourself constantly talking yourself out of doing something new just so you won't fail, then author Maja Jovanovic’s book Hey Ladies, Stop Apologizing, could provide the necessary jump-start to overcome the inertia and kick you into action. Maja identifies all those bad habits that women often have that hold them back in life and in business, including: We play nice. We don't ask for what we want. We don't negotiate. We apologize - all the time. We're people-pleasers. We're over-thinkers. We suffer from the fraud or imposter syndrome. We're perfectionists. We don't self-promote. Maja’s mission is to bring her readers greater awareness around their bad habits, pushing them out of their comfort zones and into action. She motivates them to reach up, dream bigger, and aspire for leadership positions in all areas of their lives. Her informative and direct style of writing provides women with dozens of activities to help rid themselves of the bad habits of perfectionism, procrastination, and the obsession with being nice, while also challenging them to improve communication skills and live outside their comfort zones.
Author quotes
As women, we must recognize that we have a voice, we have an opinion and we should know how best to articulate it. We need to know our value, and learn to love the art of self-promotion.
We must learn to tame that negative voice in our heads that constantly breeds doubt and fear. We must stop apologizing and start believing we are capable of unimaginable levels of success.
We must become leaders in all areas of our lives in order to embody and promote that leadership ideal for the generation coming up behind us.
Success does not just happen. We create it, we harness it, we develop it, and we make it our own. It’s time ladies, it’s time!

Why LoA loves it….
As women entrepreneurs, it’s all too easy to stay within our comfort zones and to keep doing things the same way and trying to please people all the time, because it’s how we have built our businesses and brands, by doing just that. But if we are to move forward and keep our businesses and our lives moving in the right direction, we need to try new things, think differently, push ourselves into unknown territories, and be willing to make ourselves a little uncomfortable in the process. This is a great read for all those women entrepreneurs who need a little push to do just that. --- Melanie Hawken, founder and ceo of Lionesses of Africa
