The Southern Africa Startup Awards Mozambique have just taken place in Maputo and the Standard Bank Incubator has won the award category of Best Accelerator and Incubator Programme in the country.
The award is given for a fixed-term, cohort based accelerator programme that helps and empowers entrepreneurs to foster the growth of their innovative companies by providing tools, resources, connections, knowledge and expertise. The Standard Bank Incubator, led by Sasha Vieira who is the Head of the Incubator, has built a strong and award winning reputation for creating an inspirational space and ecosystem for emerging entrepreneurs. The Standard Bank Incubator has been Lionesses of Africa's partner in Mozambique for the past two years, supporting the growth and development of the country's women entrepreneurs.
Southern Africa Startup Awards is part of the Global Startup Awards, providing an annual spotlight to those who dare to dream big and shape the way our future will look.
