South African entrepreneur, Didintle Motsuenyane, founder of More Than Golf (Pty) Ltd, has just announced the launch of an exciting new golfing event in the country’s economic capital, Gauteng, to mark what has been a hard, busy business year. Experienced golfers and corporate weekend golfing enthusiasts alike, are invited to participate as part of their wind down for the year. Founder, Didintle Motsuenyane, is keen to encourage women entrepreneur golfers to take part too.
At More Than Golf (Pty) Ltd, the main focus is in managing and implementing exceptional golfing experiences. Through this approach, the company has built a solid foundation upon which to deliver world class golf events and tournaments. The company offers a range of highly focused offerings including: Golf-Day Conceptualization; Holistic Event Management; RSVP Management; and Experience Creation.
This month sees the launch of an exciting new competition, The Wind Down Golf Invitational (WDI), which is an event for the hard working and ambitious men and women of South Africa’s economic capital, Gauteng. It provides the perfect opportunity to wind down following a hard business year, over some golf and fun. Just before the ‘homelands’ start calling, the young and energetic upmarket professionals, movers, shakers and entrepreneurs gather at a premium golf club for a day of relaxed, yet competitive golf, plus an exclusive night of fun, entertainment and reflection on the year that was.
Speaking about this year’s event, founder Didintle Motsuenyane, says:
“This is the One Jhb Golf Event you cannot miss before going on holiday!!! Networking opportunities, giving back and winding down, and then the non-negotiable dance floor! Come and experience the best golfing experience. This year specifically we'd like to host more females, and we are running a 25% discount for ladies on tickets, till Friday 15 November 2019.”
What makes this event different is that a major element of WDI is the money that is raised for charitable causes that support those less fortunate than the guests taking part. The focus is on education and mentorship. Last year, the competition supported the Mentor-A-Boy Initiative, and it is likely to be supported by this year’s event once again.
The 2019 Wind Down Golf Invitational (WDI) event will be hosted on 29 November 2019, at the Houghton Golf Course in Johannesburg. To find out more, interested players should contact Didi on her cell number: 0728060372 or via email: info@morethangolf.co.za
