The new Coronavirus pandemic has forced most of us to stay indoors, and having to work from our homes seems to be the only way out to survive the current situation. As bad as things seem to get, I truly believe that there is a bright side out of the bad news we have been seeing and hearing about what is going on around the world.
I know that accepting and dealing with it isn’t an easy task, especially when your source of income has been affected. Lately it has been difficult to be in touch with the suppliers because some have already closed their doors, and the ones still operating are increasing their prices. The number of orders also decreased, which consequently decreased the number of employees, closed companies’ doors, and made many start working from home until everything is safe and stabilized.
The truth is many things changed suddenly due to the massive negative impact the virus has brought to many countries around the world. But gladly our ability to adapt to the current situation has been showing faster and more positive results that we can clearly see from the virtual traffic that is opening many doors to online businesses. If we were resistant about them initially, it’s undeniable that now is the time to embrace the power of online and start incorporating our businesses in the worldwide web.
The actual crisis comes as a reminder that millions of jobs will disappear in the coming years due to the ‘robotic and automation era’ that is actually forcing us to break free from the rat race and gain time and location freedom. The global crisis is clearly preparing us and making us understand that the virtual world will reign in the market, and if we look at it properly we can see that this will provide freedom, allowing a flexible work schedule and the possibility of achieving high-income opportunities.
Although, the income and the normal company’s operations have been somehow affected, I understand that now is the perfect time to revise everything that has been done up to this moment - to improve initial ideas and develop new ones, to study innovative ways to make the products or services better and available online.
Beside the fact that we have more time to learn to deal with the current situation by adapting our businesses to online terms and delivery methods, this is also a moment to be creative to surpass this period with success.
