Author Quotes
Even though juggling relationships, kids, and a career can be difficult, it's not wholly impossible if you have the correct knowledge, are persistent, and act.
The absence of a universal playbook on becoming a successful mother, partner, and entrepreneur causes a never-ending battle or never ending sense of guilt for many women who run their own businesses because it forces them to choose between their two greatest passions - their families and companies.
As a woman, you do not have to give up one dream to pursue another; and striking a balance between being a mother, a partner, and an influential entrepreneur, while challenging, is not insurmountable.

Why LoA loves it…
We all know how challenging it can be to successfully juggle all aspects of our lives as women entrepreneurs. On the one hand, we have our businesses to run, creating legacies for our families, and opportunities for job creation and economic development in our countries. On the other, we are nurturing our families, investing in our personal relationships with our partners, raising our children, and giving back to our communities. There is a lot to juggle, and as rewarding as it all is, it can also be stressful. In Sylvie Tamanda’s new book, she shares how it’s possible to be all of these roles, and achieve success and personal fulfillment too. This is a great read for all those women entrepreneurs who constantly feel they are in a battle to get it all right. — Melanie Hawken, founder, Lionesses of Africa
