As part of National Women’s Month celebrations, the prestigious Women’s Information Network (WIN) is presenting 1,000 Global Women’s Summits (2011 – 2018) as part of a massive global women’s initiative. Global Women’s Summits aim to educate women worldwide, and to engage in meaningful discussions about women’s issues, needs, and most importantly action oriented programmes - in every nation.
Johannesburg will be the host city for the first Global Women's Summit to be organised through the Women’s International Network in South Africa on 8 August. A prestigious speaker panel for the event will include Tumi Frazier, Director of African Global Women's Summits; international business expert Mireille Toulekima; and Lionesses of Africa Founder and Editor in Chief, Melanie Hawken, who will be speaking about the dynamic growth of women's entrepreneurship in Africa.
Global Women’s Summits are already represented in fourteen (14) countries; the United States, Canada, Brazil, Netherlands, Malaysia, Great Britain, Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, India, Sweden and Finland, amongst others.
