Serial entrepreneur Mavis Nduchwa, founder of the successful agribusiness Chabana Farms in Botswana, is making news again this month with her launch of the first honey processing factory in the country. Her new business venture will be processing and packaging various types of honey including the rare white honey, yellow honey, as well as the black honey. Currently, the business is supplying honey to Botswana, Lesotho, South Africa and Namibia.
In 2019, Chabana Farms will be launching a new and exciting range of honey products, including Moringa Infused Honey, as well as the Ginger and Cinnamon Infused Honey. This particular range is aimed at health conscious customers, as Moringa has a high content of vitamins and minerals. The Chabana Farms new range of honeys are a first of a kind in the country, so Mavis Nduchwa and her team are working on patents.
In terms of introducing the new range of products to customers, Chabana Farms have plans to launch our products with a series of tasting sessions, especially to introduce the various types of honey the company now supplies. Future plans include taking the Chabana Farms range of honey products to new markets in Europe, USA, Asia and the Middle East.
Customers can currently access the whole range of products through the Chabana Farms online store at www.chabanafarms.com. The company also has a distributor who supplies selected supermarkets locally in Botswana, and products are also sold in Lesotho pharmacies, as well as supermarkets in Namibia.
