We have established that we need to understand journeys and destinations to ensure that we focus to reach our ultimate goal. This is for our personal life, our business careers and our wealth. Yet so many still miss the mark. They seem to be working so hard at it but after a while it is just not working out. We give up on our dreams or goals and many give up on life. That can be avoided if we just take some time in the beginning of any journey and think about our destination.
You cannot jump on any dirt road and expect to reach the mountain top. You need to get on the correct road towards your money and your wealth – and your heart must be in it. Create a deep yearning for your life to be changed for the better.
Direction Not intention = Destination.
Let’s talk about creating wealth. Solutions can always be designed towards a path to assumed wealth but the solution given to you right at this moment might not be the best one yet. The reason we battle is because we did not clearly define exactly what you want your wealth to do for you, your wealth destination.
Google maps, Tripadvisor and Uber all work on paths but in different ways – correct?
It’s the same with us….
What is the difference between a solution, a path and a destiny?
- A solution to any problem can be designed to suit your will – so what if you are wrong? We tend to accept solutions that seem like good ideas.
- A Path will lead to a destination.
- A destination is the end result of your path – the outcome…
You and I will win or lose by the paths we choose and not the solutions.
Use these practical questions.
Describe the destination that you wish to reach.
Is the path that you are on likely to take you there?
Does your intention in life line up with your CURRENT direction?
You can’t get to where you want to be unless you know where you are to BEGIN with.
Similarly you can’t get to where you want to be in life until you are willing to admit where you ARE to begin with…
We as humans can tell ourselves massive lies - it sounds like this.
“Everything is fine”
“Everything is going to work out”
“I’ll get through this”
“I can handle this”
“It’s all going to be all right”
Self-talk lies will keep you on the wrong path in the jungle – and it sounds very similar to the truth. Many of the above phrases are not wrong at all as long as they do not keep you from actually taking stock of where you are right now and where exactly do you want to be.
Can you clearly see your mountain top?
