“We pay special attention to ensuring that both the client and the applicant are satisfied.”
What inspired you to start your company?
I have experience in the recruitment space, that is when I discovered my love for recruitment, plus I am generally a people's person by nature and I love helping people. So that inspired me to start my company together with my passion for recruitment. It also gives me great joy knowing that I make a difference in someone's life.
Why should anyone use your service or product?
We always make sure that we sit down with our clients to understand their business and culture and also to understand their needs as a company so that we are able to place the most suitable candidates for the company's needs. We also take away the pain of sifting through piles and piles of CVs and saving you time while we make sure that we get you the best candidates in the shortest time.
Tell us a little about your team
We are a niche company and currently do not have permanent staff. We do however have people that help, and also outsource resources as and when needed.
Share a little about your entrepreneurial journey. And, do you come from an entrepreneurial background?
Recruitment has just been a passion of mine. Securing a job for a person or being a part of ones' growth always gives me the greatest joy. I also come from an entrepreneurial family background so that might also have influenced my journey.
What are your future plans and aspirations for your company?
Our future plans for Placement Junxion are to be one of the most preferred recruitment businesses in South Africa and across the world. We also want to be able to create job opportunities and provide training for graduates.
“My greatest satisfaction about being an entrepreneur is being able to change people’s lives; just knowing that I’ve impacted their lives and helped them with the next journey of their life. “
What gives you the most satisfaction being an entrepreneur?
My greatest satisfaction about being an entrepreneur is being able to change people’s lives; just knowing that I’ve impacted their lives and helped them with the next journey of their life. Being an entrepreneur gives you an opportunity to always learn something new every day, I love that it completely takes you out of your comfort-zone.
What's the biggest piece of advice you can give to other women looking to start-up?
Just start!!! Also surround yourself with people who are entrepreneurs even if it's not in the same space as you so they can share their experiences with you. Be around positive people. Stay true to yourself, some people won’t understand why you are doing what you do and that's fine. Take the first step and start.
