What inspired you to start your company?
The desire to do more and be more. I wanted to contribute more financially to my family. Lots of businesses need support to grow sustainably and that’s where The Virtual Paragon comes in.

Tell us a little about your team
I am the team but I subcontract to independent contractors when needed.
Share a little about your entrepreneurial journey. And do you come from an entrepreneurial background?
My entrepreneurial journey is that of grit, tenacity, and grace. I started when the internet was still growing in Nigeria. I didn’t have many choices of what to venture into and I had this issue of payment processing. Most of the payment processors don’t work in Nigeria even to date. I kept searching the internet till I got to know about blogging, social media management and the rest is history. Today, I have developed a lot of skills that are needed in the marketplace. I struggled with learning what to do and how to do it. No one was available to show me the way. I was even duped at some points of my money without being taught but I didn’t give up. My experience informed my decision of starting another company that will make it easy and well laid out for anyone in Africa that wants to start an online business. That aspect of my journey is called “The Skills Maven”. It’s still evolving though. I come from an entrepreneurial background as my family are business owners in different industries like food, furniture, healthcare etc. I am grateful for how far I have come and for the future ahead.
“I plan to support more businesses by helping them grow seamlessly. I aspire to be a one stop company for all things launches and tech.”
What are your future plans and aspirations for your company?
I plan to support more businesses by helping them grow seamlessly. I aspire to be a one stop company for all things launches and tech.
What gives you the most satisfaction being an entrepreneur?
The joy on my clients faces and the legacy I am leaving for my family.
What's the biggest piece of advice you can give to other women looking to start-up?
Never give up. Believe in yourself because your ideas are valid. Your skills are valid.
